KBA appeals CM
Srinagar: Kashmir Broadcasters Association has appealed to the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah to reconsider the decision of barring local channels from airing news.
In a statement, KBA said they suffered huge financial losses from the last ten month due to the ban on airing news.
“We have invested huge amount of money on building infrastructure and have acquired loans from the financial institutions. We are under huge debts now,” KBA said. “The ban has left many people jobless,” it read.
