CB organizes awareness camp

Srinagar, June 26: The Crime Branch (CB) department of police on Sunday organized several functions in the City to make people aware of the ills of drug menace.
 The Inspector General of Police CB, Raja Aijaz Ali while addressing a seminar at Poly-technique College Gogji Bagh asked the youth to remain away from the drug menace.
 “Drug abuse is killing our society we should try our level best to stay away from the menace,” he said.
 The Crime Branch spokesman Manzoor Ahmed Khan  said scores of people including schoolchildren attended the event.
 Earlier in the day, the IGP flagged of a cycle rally on the Boulevard while the Senior Superintendent of Police CB Abdul Gaffar Malik was also present on the occasion.
 The CB also organized a painting competition for schoolchildren.
