MSME, SSIC organise workshop at Zainakote

Srinagar, June 27: The ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Small Scale Industries Corporation on Monday organized an ‘industrial motivational campaign on developmental schemes’ for industrial unit holders at Zainakote here.
Addressing around 80 local industrialists, Director MSME Development Institute Jammu Virender Sharma said that the sole objective of the workshop was s to educate unit holders about the beneficiary schemes being provided by them.
Expressing his satisfaction, President Small Scale Industrial Association Zainakote Shahjahan Khan said that such events would help in understanding the schemes launched for their benefit by the government.
The unit holders demanded that government should provide basic infrastructure.
“We are facing several problems in routine. There is no scheduled electricity in this estate and such schemes have no value unless there is round the clock electricity,” they said.
Apart from industrialists, Joint Director Industries and commerce department Bilal Ahmed, Managing Director, SICOP R K Razdan, Senior Manager National Small Industries Corporation Gurpal Singh and President Federation Chamber of Industries, Kashmir Zahoor Ahmed attended the workshop.
