PPP to pursue reconciliation policy in PaK: Gilani
Islamabad, June 28: Pakistan Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday said that despite securing clear majority in the general elections in PaK, his party (PPP) would strictly follow the policy of national reconciliation by working with other political forces of the region.
Gilani made these assertions while talking to PML (Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and other federal ministers here on Tuesday. “Peoples Party would pursue the policy of reconciliation as envisioned by Benazir Bhutto”, he said adding that all democratic forces would be taken into confidence on the national issues.
He expressed satisfaction that the incumbent regime’s policy of reconciliation saying it was yielding positive results in terms of progress and development of the nation.
