Srinagar, June 2: In broad daylight, a businessman was Thursday attacked allegedly by road vendors near Azad building Hari Singh High Street.
 Mehjoor Ahmad Khan owner of Al-Balaagh said around 15 street vendors assaulted him.
 “They (street  vendors) objected to parking of my vehicle outside my office. They were asking to shift it somewhere else to pave way for their kiosks. On my refusal they attacked me,” he alleged adding that a police Flying Squad rescued him. The police has filed  a case.
