Anti-grazing drive in Gulmarg

Srinagar, June 5: Authorities on Sunday launched an anti-grazing drive in famous ski-resort Gulmarg and confiscated 50 ponies.

Officials said a joint team of Gulmarg Development Authority and Tourism Department conducted the drive in the Gulmarg bowl. The team led by Chief Executive Officer, GDA, confiscated 50 ponies in the bowl. Officials said later the ponies were handed over to their owners after realizing a fine of Rs 17,000.
