SKO wholesale dealers hold meet

Srinagar, June 5: The Kashmir Valley SKO Wholesale Dealers’ Union held a general body meeting at Rafiquee Associates Hyderpora here under the chairmanship of Haji Ghuiam Mohi-ud-din Rafiquee, chief patron of the association. It was the first general body meeting of the new management headed by its president Haji M Akhter Nizami, ex MLA. The meeting hailed the contribution of its ex. president Haji M Ramzan Rather.
The meeting also discussed tasks and challenges the new management has to deal with. The meeting impressed upon the management to take up the issues confronting the association with the authorities concerned for its redress. The members in the meeting put forth their points besides highlighting difficulties faced on the ground.
The meeting stressed the need for efficient, quick, clean and transparent delivery system for the consumers of the Valley.
Nizami gave a brief account of the measures taken by the management since he took over three weeks ago. All members appreciated his leadership for plugging loopholes, taking measures in the interest of the trade.
The meeting also hailed Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Asgar Hussain Samoon, Director CAPD A W Tak. The association decided to meet once in a month to assess the progress and revive performance.
