Youm-e-Rebhar observed

Srinagar, June 5: Youm-e-Rehabar was observed at different places in the City on Sunday as part of the 22nd death anniversary of Ayatullah Sayyid Rohullah Khomeini (RA).
 Educational Trust Kashmir organized a daylong programme  at Iqbal Khomeini Hall Mohalla Syed Afzal of the city in which thousands of people  and the  students of Imamia Public School  participated. The function started with the recitation of Holy Qur’an, which was followed by a quiz competition.
 The president of Education Trust Kashmir, Munshi Muzaffar Hussain presided over the function.
 The speakers included Syed Kalib Hussain Rizvi and Dr Muhammad Hussain Karimi. They urged the Muslim brethren remain united. 
 On the occasion, the students spoke on the topic “Imam Khomeini (RA) and unity of Muslim”. Later the best speakers were awarded.
 Meanwhile a programme was also organized at Khomeini Chowk, Bemina, by the local Social Welfare Committee, which was attended by thousands of people. The programme started with the recitation of Holy Qur’an.
