‘Seize misbranded pesticides’

Srinagar, June 06: According to Law Enforcement wing of Agriculture department, all the farmers of the valley are advised not to use Butaveer (Wedicide) batch No BuTJK0190 in Srinagar and Ganderbal, Benmain (Fungicide) batch No MA00908 CB in Budgam and KRICEL (Insecticide) batch No KRE1JK/256 in Ang/Kangan as they have been found misbranded in the quality control lab of the agriculture department.
 All the enforcement officers have been directed to seize the stock of said pesticides under batch No KRE/JK-389 CMO2.
 Similarly, the farmers have also been advised not ro use Butaveer (Nanda Dawa) batch No ButJK0190, in Srinagar and Ganderbal, Benmain (Fungicides) batch No MA00908CB in Budgam and KRICEL (Insecticides) batch No KREJK256 in Islamabad (Anantnag) and Kulgam as these have been found misbranded after tests conducted in departmental laboratory. Enforcement officers have been instructed to seize these all brands.
