SHD adopts double crop system

Srinagar, June 6: The J&K government has introduced double crop system in Sheep Husbandry Departments in Kashmir, said B D Sharma, Commissioner Secretary Animal and Sheep Husbandry at a meeting in Dachigam the other day. Sharma said 400 kanals of land were brought under Grass Land Development, a central scheme for growing perennial grasses to ensure food security of the animals in the state.
