JKEEU presents charter of demands to Comm Secy PDD
Srinagar, June 7: The Jammu and Kashmir Electrical Employees Union today apprised the Commissioner Secretary Power Development Department Basharat Ahmad Dhar about their problems at a meeting held under the supervision of its president Mir Abdul Salam Rajpori.
At the meeting, the Union General Secretary Manzoor Ahmad Bhat presented 10-point charter of demands to the commissioner secretary about their problems, which include regularization of daily wager employees.
“The suggestions to improve the working of a department were also discussed,” said Abdul Hamid, the spokesman of JKEEU, in a statement.
Among others those who attended the meeting include Deputy Secretary of the department Bal Krishan and financial advisor Imtiyaz Ahmad besides Senior Vice Presidents of the union Zahoor Ahmad Wani and Muhammad Maqbool Najar, General Secretary Manzoor Ahmad Bhat and Chief Patron Nazir Ahmad Bhat Mushtaq Ahmad Matto (chief organiser) and Abdul Hamid Zadoo.
