Ashwani for dividing JK, Rasheed says OK

GK NEWS NETWORK

Jammu, Mar 9: Independent MLA from Langate, Er Rashid Wednesday said that  if Jammu does not want to remain with Kashmir, it should be separated as Kashmiris would also welcome the move.
He was reacting to the demand by Jammu State Morcha (JSM) MLA Ashwani Sharma, during the discussion on budget in the Assembly.
Participating in the debate, Ashwani said that separate Jammu state should be created to end ‘discrimination’ of past six decades in terms of funds distribution.
Reacting sharply to Ashwani’s remarks Er Rasheed said; “Kashmiri Be Aapke Saath Nahi Rehna Chahte Aur Hum Tou Khush Honge Ki Aap Alag Rahein. Hum Kashmiri Koi Bikhari Nahi Hain” (Kashmiris also do not want to live with you and we will be happy if Jammu goes its way - because Kashmiris are not beggars).
Rashid said that though he is in favour of united Jammu and Kashmir, but if such demand is being raised by the people in Jammu, Kashmiris would more than welcome it.
