Srinagar Mar 9: J&K Bank reiterates its commitment to be on the forefront to develop the state’s economy through its mission of financial empowerment of the people.
This was stated by chairman/CEO JK Bank, Mushtaq Ahmad, in an electronic message read out on the inaugural function of the Bank’s ATM at STC BSF Humhama here today.
The chairman further stated that the bank is committed to expand ATM network in the state in all the three regions of the state. “To achieve customer delight, the Bank is providing value added services like anywhere banking, tele-banking, swift transfer fund facilities, internet banking and mobile banking facilities to its customers.”
Remarkably, the ATM at STC, BSF, Humhama was jointly inaugurated by the bank’s Zonal Head (Central Kashmir) Abdul Hamid Banday and President, BWWA, BSF Kashmir FTR, Bitty Singh, amid large gathering. Number of ATMs in Kashmir Central Zone rose to 113 and that of the Bank to 355.
Bitty Singh appreciated the role of the Bank authorities for their efforts to bring more and more areas within the ambit of banking and especially technology enabled services which have immensely added to the convenience of customers.
Speaking on the sidelines of the function which was attended by people both from civil and security, Abdul Hamid Banday said by bringing the technology driven services, the Bank has brought a tremendous ease and comfort to its customers to draw money across the globe even in odd hours.
“J&K Bank is pioneer in realizing the dream concept of one-stop financial supermarket in a geographically remote location like J&K state. The bank is providing world class technology driven services to its customers irrespective of their location. Besides providing hassle free finance to housing, education, artisan and others sectors of economy, the bank is providing Bancassurance products, mutual funds, cash management services, depository services at all its branches,” he said.
The Zonal Head invited the defence personnel to have their dealings with J&K Bank and avail the services which are at par with world class banking and stated providing of world class banking services and facilities is and shall remain the core priorities of the Bank. He reiterated that the aim of the Bank is to provide global quality financial solutions to all people in the state.
As a part of providing global quality financial services he stated that the Bank is live on RTGS system of RBI and is providing these financial services at lowest cost compared to other Banks.
