JK Grameen Bank holds loan mela
Launches Rural Sanitation Scheme

Srinagar, Mar 10: J&K Grameen Bank today held a Mega Loan Mela at Dak Bungalow, Baramulla. DDC Baramulla, B A Bhat was the chief guest at the function which was presided over by General Manager J&K Grameen Bank Kashmir Region, Muhammad Altaf Bhat. The Bank distributed sanction letters amounting to Rs 1.27 crore amongst 369 beneficiaries under Kissan Credit Card, GCC, SGSY, KVIB etc.
Meanwhile, the Bank on the occasion launched a Rural Sanitation Scheme, under which 225 beneficiaries were accommodated. Under the scheme the Bank gives a financial assistance of Rs 20,000 for construction of a rural sanitation unit (Hygienic Lavatory), the bank in a statement said. It said the people present on the occasion hailed the scheme. Assistant commissioner Revenue Baramulla, Farooq Ahmad Shah and Joint Director Planning AG Malik were present in the function. Shah distributed the sanction letters.
