JK mulls development of cold stores in PPP

Jammu, Mar 12: Minister for Horticulture, Sham Lal Sharma has said that West Bengal government has allotted two plots of land measuring 6.5 kanals at Salt Lake, Kolkata to J&K Horticulture Department (P&S) on lease for establishment of cold store and Kissan guest house. The Minister was replying to a question by Ch. Zulafkar Ali in Legislative Assembly here today. He, according to an official statement, said since the State Government could not find appropriate resources to finance the projects, it was decided to raise these facilities in association with the private enterprises in PPP mode.
