Peaks Auto organises Grameen Car Loan Mela

Islamabad (Anantnag), Mar 12: Peaks Auto Limited, today organized a “Grameen Car Loan Mela” at Dak Bungalow, Khanabal here. The newly launched SX4 Diesel and the Estilo Magic were put on display at the event.
More than 70 vehicles were delivered in the mela which was second of its kind. Earlier, the company had organized a mela at Shopian in 2009 where 50 vehicles were delivered.
Speaking on the occasion, CEO and MD, Peaks Auto Limited, Baldev Singh said, “The mela has got an overwhelming response as the people from every nook and corner of South Kashmir attended the event.”
He said more than 70 vehicles were delivered and 30 on spot bookings made.
He said the main focus of the Team Peaks was to patronize the Maruti Suzuki brand in the upcountry areas of the Valley, provide customer friendly service and live up to the expectations of the people.
He appreciated the role of J and K Bank in “strengthening” its business in South Kashmir in particular.
Irshad Peerzada, DGM operations said that the company was trying to reach every nook and corner of the rural areas in the Valley as these areas have a “good potential.”
The event was attended by all the branch heads, advance heads of J&K Bank, EDB Bank, SBI and HDFC.
Earlier, Vice President J&K Bank, Zonal Office South, Muhammad Afzal Khan who was the chief guest on the occasion inaugurated the event.
“J & K Bank has always been for providing hassle-free scheme to people to get vehicles of their choice and Peaks Auto too has been a successful partner and a valuable client,” said Khan.
He said the Bank would continue to finance vehicles and support the public in every possible way.
Later, the chief guest and the MD, Peaks Auto lucky presented mementos to some JK Bank employees and Marketing and Sales executives of Auto Peaks.
Three of the Maruti customers received gift hampers (refrigerator, washing machine and LCD) after their names were nominated through a lucky draw.
