Woman dies in suspicious circumstances
Srinagar/Jammu, Mar 13: A 25-year-old woman died in suspicious circumstances in Uri.
According to police, Parveena Begum wife of Muhammad Haneef Tanoli of Dawaran Uri was allegedly brought dead in suspicious condition by her relatives in the sub-district hospital Uri.
The body of the deceased was handed over to relatives for last rites after completing all legal formalities, police added.
MAN DROWNS IN WELL
A mentally challenged person was drowned in a well at Check Sarmarg, Handwara.
The deceased has been identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Dar, 22, son of Muhammad Jamal of Check Sarmarg. The body has been handed over to relatives, police said.
A man was electrocuted at Affan Warnow, Kupwara.
The deceased has been identified as Ghulam Rasool Wani, 35, son of Rakeebulla of Affan Warnow, police said.
CRPF MAN KILLED AFTER ‘FALLING’ FROM TRAIN
A CRPF man died after he allegedly fell from a moving train in Kathua district of Jammu.
Satinder Kumar of 60 Battalion CRPF was killed when he fell from the door of fast moving Jammu-bound Shalimar Express near Govindsar village, police said.
He was returning from home in Meerut to join duty when the accident happened, police said.
The body was handed over to CRPF after the post mortem and probe into the matter is on, it said. PTI
