Natipora without electricity
Srinagar, Mar 14: Residents of Natipora on Monday said that they have been without electricity for the past one week.“The transformer of our area developed a technical snag second time in past 2- months and got damaged due to overloading,”a delegation of residents told Greater Kashmir."Main reason is that almost every house in the locality near Natipora chowk has at least four tenants and they use heavy electric appliances without having any agreement with the PDD. Excess load leads to burning of the transformer,” they added.
We have apprised the PDD officials about overloading and the number of “illegal connections” in the area. “ Our pleas have fallen flat on deaf ears, as PDD officials seem least bothered about what we are talking,” the residents added.
