Body recovered in Budgam

Srinagar, Mar 16: Police has recovered a body of a man from an almond orchard at Nowbugh Chadoora Budgam.
According to police, the deceased has been identified as Abdul Rashid Bhat son of Muhammad Akbar of Nowbugh.

5 HURT IN MISHAPS
Five persons were injured in separate road accidents in Valley.
Two persons were critically wounded when the truck (JK01P-1028) they were travelling in lost control and fell into a 2000 meter deep gorge near Saderkoot Bandipora.
The wounded have been identified as Surjeet Sigh son of Kaka Ram of Ramsoo and Jamsheed Tak son of Habibullah of Banihal.
A tipper (JK01H-9755) collided with a car (JK01L-5500) near Mirgund Budgam injuring Showkat Ahmad Mir son of Abdul Aziz of Kachan Ganderbal, police said.
In another incident, a tipper (JK01M-9064) collided with a sumo (JK01J-0744) near Parimpora injuring two passengers, police added.
Muhammad Shafi Gojri son of Ghulam Ahmad of Sheikhpora Haril, Handwara was wounded when he fell down from a tractor trolley (JK09-3603) near hospital road Handwara, police said. 

10 INJURED IN BLAZE
Ten family members were wounded when fire broke out in the joint residential house of Fayaz Ahmad Sheikh and Abdul Hamid Sheikh Sons of Muhammad Yousuf Sheikh of Sheikh Mohalla Malangam, Bandipora.
In another incident, fire broke out in a Houseboat of Muhammad Shaban Shagoo son of Abdul Rehman of Aramwari near Zero-Bridge here, damaging it partially.

2 LABOURERS ARRESTED WITH ILLICIT LIQUOR 
Police has arrested two Nepali labourers, Tour Bahadur and Nan-Lal recovering 87 bottles and 40 liters of illicit liquor from their possession at Minjee Gund Chatuk Kargil.

6 HELD WITH NARCOTIC DRUGS 
Police has arrested six persons seizing huge quantity of narcotics drugs from their possession in Awantipora.   

POLICE DISTRIBUTES CRUTCHES AMONG DISABLED 
Police has distributed 30 wheel chairs, 10 crutches and 10 hearing aids among the disabled persons during a function at Kulgam. 
SP Kulgam, Mubashir Latifi, emphasized that Police was always ready to reach out to different sections of the society particularly youth and underprivileged families.
