‘Danihama-Nagbal road up-gradation taken up under NABARD’
Jammu, Mar 17: The Government today said the upgradation work of Danihama to Nagbal road via Khimbar in Hazratbal was apace under NABARD and would be completed during next financial year, adding upgradation work of Nagbal to Bakoora had been completed under PMGSY and Bakoora Sydpora-Batpora road macadamized with an expenditure of Rs 80 lakh.
This was stated by a Minister while replying to a question by Dr. Mustafa Kamal in the Legislative Assembly here.
‘DPRS FOR 78 BUDGAM ROAD PROJECTS FORMULATED’
The Government said 78 detailed project reports had been formulated for construction of new roads in Budgam under NABARD during last two years, adding granting approval to these projects depends on the availability of funds and projects are accordingly prioritized for sanction.
This was stated by a Minister while replying to a question by Hakim Muhammad Yasin in the Legislative Assembly.
SAFEGUARD STATE’S PROPERTIES: TARIGAMI
MLA Kulgam, M Y Tarigami demanded prompt measures to safeguard State’s property at New Delhi, Amritsar and Mumbai.
He said the property at these places was shrinking for want of effective measures.
Raising the issue in the House, he said 114 kanals of land in New Delhi had shrunk to mere 15 kanals. How come government augment quarter facility when land is not available in New Delhi, he questioned while highlighting the need to have more accommodation at New Delhi to facilitate citizens of the State.
