Core Group reviews situation
Srinagar, Mar 17: Lt Gen Hasnain, GOC 15 Corps and the Security Advisor to the state Government, chaired the Core Group meeting at Badamibagh cantonment here on Thursday. The meeting was attended by DGP Kuldeep Khoda, senior officers of Army, Police, CRPF, BSF, intelligence agencies and civil administration.
“The meeting deliberated on the initiatives being taken on the security front. The meeting also discussed numerous security issues and took a review of the prevailing external and internal environment,” a Defence spokesman said.
Addressing the meeting, Lt Gen Hasnain complemented the gathering on the high level of synergy that exists between all stake-holders in addressing the security concerns of the Valley, the spokesman said adding the GOC further emphasised on consolidation of gains.
“DGP Kuldeep Khoda while addressing the gathering echoed similar sentiments and further elaborated on key security issues,” the spokesman said.
