Govt has no proposal for Tengpora flyover
Srinagar, Mar 17: The Minister for Rural Development Thursday said the government has no proposal for construction of flyover at Tengpora (Batamaloo) bye-pass and Qamerwari Chowk presently, adding the road from Qamerwari chowk to Parimpora junction stand already sanctioned under Central Road Fund and is being upgraded four-lanes status.
This was stated by the Minister while replying to a question by Muhammad Irfan Shah in the Legislative Assembly in Jammu, an official handout said.
The Minister said the road from Parimpora status junction to Narbal junction is also being 4-laned under PMRP by project BEACON. He said the widening of this road to the 4-lane status will considerably reduce conjunction and traffic jams.
