‘JK Bank alive to concerns of weak, vulnerable’

Srinagar, Mar 20: In line with its CSR policy, J&K Bank sponsored inaugural function of CHILDLINE, a 24x7 emergency phone service for children in need of care and protection.
The function was organized by HELP Foundation and attended by President J&K Bank Tafazal Hussain, Vice President Khursheed Pandit, government officials, senior citizens, civil society members and social activists.
Speaking on the occasion, J&K Bank President said, “Under the leadership of its chairman, the Bank is alive to the concerns of society especially the weak and vulnerable sections.”
In this regard, J&K Bank has a well thought-out policy to contribute positively and effectively towards their betterment and economic welfare. Education, healthcare and awareness campaigns about different social issues exact major portion of our CSR funds.”
The bank, he said, has been engaged in this while working on different levels and different ways. He assured the audience that the bank shall continue to intervene socially wherever the need was felt.
