HCC worker killed in mishap

Bandipora, Mar 20: A worker of Hindustan Construction Company was crushed to death while working in a tunnel here on Sunday. Bhajan Singh, 37, of Punjab was killed when he was hit by hydraulic arm of the machinery he was operating. The accident occurred at 3:15 p.m. today inside the tunnel, where workers were drilling holes for explosives “He died on the spot,” said an Engineer, working for HCC.
