KU’s north campus students on strike
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Mar 20: The B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering students of Kashmir University’s north Campus Delina are on strike for past six days to protest against the alleged absence of facilities there.
A group of students told Greater Kashmir that their studies have been badly affected by dearth of requisite infrastructure and staff in campus.
“We don’t have proper laboratory and it can hardly accommodate 20 students, where as our group comprises of sixty. We don’t have Math teacher and owing to staff shortage, we have completed very less syllabus till this time,” they said
They added that even internet facilities are not available in the institution. “Even the girls don’t have separate hostel,” they said, demanding shifting of B.Tech students to main campus till facilities are provided there.
