PCR hosts stress management training
Srinagar, Mar 21: A training programme on stress management was Monday organised at Police Control Room Srinagar, a police handout said.
“The programme was inaugurated by SSP Police Control Srinagar, Javed Faroqui and eminent physiologist and trauma specialist Justin Hardy delivered first lecture, of the programme services to the staff of Drug De-addiction Centre and Stress Management help line,” it added.
“The lecture was also attended by the counsellors of Kashmir life line, Police personnel working at dial 100, staff of Police hospital, volunteers of civil defence Baramulla and Police officers of Police Control Srinagar.”
In his inaugural address, SSP PCR highlighted the aims of the training programme. He said that the programme has been designed to sensitise the counsellors of stress management as to how they could deal with people who call them for help to cope with stress.
“The training programme will continue up to March 29,” it added.
