PNB opens ATM in Valley’s saffron town

Pampore, Mar 21: Punjab National Bank inaugurated an ATM in the saffron town of Valley, here today. The Bank said it is a hi-tech ATM, which is first of its kind in the Valley.
Senior official of the Bank, M Latif Mir inaugurated the machine in presence of a rich clientele of the Bank and its staff.
While interacting with the public, Mir said: “This is our 58th ATM in J&K and 19th in Kashmir.”
He apprised the people about the various benefits of the bank’s schemes including Kisan Credit Card and requested the saffron growers of Pampore to come forward to avail the finance under Kisan
He said under its Credit Card Scheme the Bank extends loan up to Rs 3 lakh at 7 per cent rate of interest.
He said the PNB has more than 5500 ATMs throughout the country.
