SKIMS plants 500 ornamental trees
Srinagar, Mar 22: In connection with the World Arbors Day celebrations, SKIMS Director, Prof Abdul Hamid Zargar launched a plantation drive in the hospital premises.
A SKIMS handout said the trees were planted in presence of Heads of Departments, Joint Director, SKIMS (Administration) and Section Heads of the institute.
“About 500 ornamental trees of various species are being planted during the drive,” it added.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Zargar said: “SKIMS being realised as world health tourism destination requires serenity in its premises for best patient care. Let’s make it happen very soon”.
