This refers to Hassan Zainagiree’s write-up “I have a Dream” (GK 18th March). The writer deserves praise for speaking out what every Kashmiri feels. I too have a dream: to see the time when human life will be valued irrespective of religion, caste, creed and colour. I have a dream when lawmakers will not be law breakers; when the laws like PSA, AFSPA, DAA would be a thing of the past; when no one will be arrested only for raising his voice against injustice or when speaking the truth will not be treated as sedition. I have a dream when there will be no demonizing of Muslims around the world. There will be no more killing in Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Iraq, Palestine, Libya and so many countries around the world. When the world body UNO will not act as a tool in the hands of veto powers more particularly the US to secure their own national interests. I endorse Hassan Zainagiree: “Join us in raising the hands up”.
