JKSM, JAKAF delegation meets AI team

Srinagar: A joint delegation of Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement and Joint Association of Kashmiri Affected Families on Wednesday met the visiting Amnesty International team here. JKSM general secretary, Abdul Rouf Khan described the AI report on Kashmir as a positive and welcome development. He said the people had suffered a lot at the hands of armed forces in the State due to PSA, AFSPA and DAA, demanding revocation of these laws. The delegation also urged the team to take effective steps for the release of all political detainees and immediate end to unjustified arrests.
