OYK Summit closing session today
Srinagar: The weeklong youth leadership summit, One Young Kashmir, will conclude here today. The closing session will be held from 12.00 pm to 3.00 pm at the auditorium of the SK International Convention Centre on Dal banks.
Nearly 600 youth and noted subject experts will be attending the closing ceremony of the summit which saw these youth—including school, college and university students, working professionals, and entrepreneurs—brainstorming and problem solving on the issues related to culture, rights and economy in context of Kashmir.
The youth-led event is the first of its kind in the sub-continent, which is based on the 21st century town hall meetings and provided these youth a platform to express their views on a slew of issues. The OYK is supported and mentored by international developmental non-profit organisation, Mercy Corps.
