Written exam for posts of District and Sessions Judges held
Srinagar, Mar 26: The written examination for the posts of District and Sessions Judges was conducted in both wings of High Court today.
The examination for (Paper-1) was conducted in Srinagar wing under the direct supervision of Justice Hakim Imtiyaz Hussain, Justice JP Singh and Justice Muzzafar Hussain, whereas in Jammu, the examination was held under supervision of Justice Sunil Hali and Justice Hasnain Masoodi.
A statement issued by the High Court said the exercise, for maintaining transparency, was recorded through videography in presence of Judges by Registrar General and Registrar (Judicial) at Jammu wing and Registrar Judicial at Srinagar wing. The statement said out of total 137 candidates 79 aspirants appeared in Paper-I at Jammu whereas out of total of 99 candidates, 62 appeared at Srinagar for examination. The examination for paper-II is scheduled on March 27.
