Agri graduates suspend strike

Srinagar, Mar 27: The agriculture graduates who were on fast for the last 35 days demanding regularization of their services, today suspended their strike following assurance by State Secretary CPI (M) and MLA Kulgam M Y Taragami that government would frame a policy for their regularisation.
Interacting with them Taragami said: “The government is going to issue an order regarding policy of regularizing services of agriculture technocrats in the days to follow.”
Surinder Radhotra, president JKATA (Jammu), Khursheed Ahmed President JKATUF (Kashmir) on the occasion said: “We have full faith in M Y Taragami and on the assurance given by him on behalf of state government we are suspending our strike.” Taragami also gave juice to fasting agriculture graduates who ended their 35 days fast.
