Govt accords sanction for issuance of Dogra certificate
Jammu, Mar 27: Minister for Revenue Relief and Rehabilitation. Raman Bhalla has asked the people of Jammu division to avail the benefits of Dogra certificate as sanction for issuance of these certificates have already been sanctioned by the government.
Bhalla informed that the Government has accorded sanction for issuance of Dogra certificate.
He said all such residents of Jammu and Kashmir, who are otherwise eligible for grant of Permanent Resident Certificate in terms of J&K Grant of Permanent Resident Certificate (Procedure) Act and the rules made thereon, can get the certificate.
He said that the concerned Tehsildar (Territorial) shall be competent to issue such certificate to the eligible desirous persons irrespective of his or her ethnicity, religion, cultural background and mother tongue.
He said directions have been issued to revenue officials to conduct a detailed survey and submit its report along with specific recommendations within a period of one month.
