MFA decry govt order
Srinagar, Mar 28: The Medical Faculty Association has expressed resentment over the Government decision of posting lecturers of selected departments of Government Medical College here on round the clock rotational basis for a period of three months in the SMHS emergency.
In a meeting held here, the Association urged the Government to reconsider the decision “as the move would deteriorate teaching in both under-graduate and post-graduate departments, which was the main job of lecturers as defined by the Medical Council of India guidelines.
“This will also hamper the ward work and supervision of severely ill patients which will be left to junior doctors,” it said.
