BPCL shows social responsibility

Srinagar, Mar 30: As a part of its corporate social responsibility, the Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, a government of India undertaking, set a community kitchen at Sub District Hostel Ganderbal and PHC Lar.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal M A Shantoo, inaugurated the kitchen in presence of area manager LPG J&K Surinder Dogra. CMO Ganderbal and BMO Lar were also present on the occasion.
The kitchen, according to a statement issued by the BPCL, has been set up in accordance with Vision 2015 formulated by Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
According to this Vision 75 per cent population in India shall be using LPG by 2015.
District administration, according to the statement, has appreciated the move of the BPCL.
Dogra said the corporation shall be setting up similar kitchens in other hospitals in the Valley.
