Geelani’s march

This refers to the news “Geelani leads march against Sopore killings.” It is a good gesture from Geelani who has always been accused of going for condemnations selectively. Here he has proven that he wants killers of every innocent civilian punished in broad daylight. I completely agree with Geelani that people must stay away from Panchayat elections as they are aimed at misleading the world community in general and the Indian civil society in particular. The promises made by the so-called representatives of people during the Assembly and Parliamentary elections are yet to be fulfilled. So there is no point participating in polls henceforth.
