100 cr spent in Bandipora

Bandipora, Mar 3: Government has spent over Rs 100 crore on 193 developmental projects in this north Kashmir district. Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmed Lone toady during a review meeting while informing this said road projects worth Rs 30 crore have been taken in hand under centrally sponsored rural infrastructure development programme, which will connect nearly two dozen villages with the district and tehsil headquarters.
DDC stressed on the sectoral officers for completion of targeted schemes. He said under various educational schemes over Rs. 13 crore have been spent in the district during this financial year. 34 new primary schools have been opened and 38 schools upgraded in the district, while as 56 buildings and 58 additional class rooms are nearing completion, the meeting was informed.
