Chairman, Kashmir Fabric Industry is no more

Srinagar, Mar 3: Noted entrepreneur and Chairman of Kashmir Fabric Industry Mushtaq Ahmad died in a tragic fire incident at New Delhi that also injured his several family members besides causing death to two of his employees on Wednesday.
 The Valley-based entrepreneurs have expressed sorrow over his death.
 In a statement past president FCIK Shakeel Qalandar said: “I express my deep regret and sorrow over the death of the prominent entrepreneur and Chairman of Kashmir Fabric Industry Mushtaq Ahmad in a tragic fire incident at New Delhi.”
 “We can never forget significant contribution of Mushtaq in promoting Kashmiri handicrafts within and outside the country through his brand Kashfab that has earned laurels over a period of time. The company had recently brought laurels to the state when it won the 1st Award of  Best Display of Products in Tex-Trends 2011 in (Handicrafts Fashion Jewelry and Accessory) exhibition participated by 714 companies. In his demise, the valley has lost an able, enthusiastic and energetic entrepreneur.”
