Arjun Singh’s demise mourned

Jammu: Senior Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) leader Ghulam Nabi Mir (Lasjan) has expressed grief over the demise of veteran Congress leader and former union minister Arjun Singh, who passed away on Friday.
 In a press statement, Mir said that the Congress party has lost a great leader and mentor and the vaccum created by his death can not be fulfilled.
 Meanwhile, a condolence meeting of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee was held here today at PCC headquarter to condole the demise.
 Rich tributes were paid to the departed leader by the senior Congress leaders and recalled his services  to the nation and the Congress party in different capacities.
 The meeting was attended by Thakur Hari Singh, Yash Pal Khajuria, Gurmukh Singh, Ravinder Sharma-MLC, Amolak Singh, Om Chopra, Pardeep Parihar, Bharat Gandhi, Mirza Muzzafar Beg, Krishan Lal Gupta, Manmohan Singh, Ashwani Puri, Th. Bhagwan Singh, D.S.Langeh, Inder Sehgal, B.B.Gupta, Padmani Langeh, Mian Nazir Ahmed, Muhammad Saleem Khan and others.
