BBC Trust hosts workshop

Srinagar, Mar 5: BBC World Service Trust, the international charity of BBC is organizing feature journalism workshop to strengthen feature writing skills of the working journalists in Srinagar.
“These trainings are being organized as part of the larger project that the Trust is implementing aimed at supporting tobacco control initiatives through effective use of media across eight cities of the country including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai , Kolkata, Thiruvananthapuram, Srinagar and Bhubaneshwar,” said Dr Harpreet Kaur, Project Manager, BBC World Service Trust.
The trainings would be led by experienced BBC trainers – Sanjeev Srivastava, ex India Affairs editor, BBC Hindi Service and Tinku Ray, currently working as South Asia News Editor at BBC World Service - both with over two decades of journalism experience to share with. Sam Miller also conducted a few sessions with the journalists during the training.
