Lone-Ansari-Bhat spar over PC
GK NEWS NETWORK
Jammu, Mar 5: While the opposition members were urging the Speaker Mohammad Akbar Lone to constitute House Committee to probe the fund distribution in the constituencies, a heated argument broke out between Speaker Muhammad Akbar Lone on one side , while Moulvi Iftikhar Hussain Ansari and Nizam-Ud-Din Bhat on the other over their association with the People’s Conference (PC).
During his speech, when Ansari urged the Speaker to listen to him and don’t take everything personnel, Ansari said, “Speaker Saab, Apke Saath Purani Association Hai, Kayoon Ki Aap Mera Sath Peoples Conference Main Thay”.
Provoked by the comment, Lone immediately quipped, “Let me make the things clear. We planned to formulate PC under Ansari Sahib. However, after long deliberations during the night hours, he (Ansari) disassociated himself early in the morning saying he has nothing to do with the organisation”.
Defending Ansari, Nizam-Ud-Din Bhat asked Lone to be honest on the issue. “Aap Bi Tou Meeting Main Thay, Jo Shamyane Ke Neeche Huwe The”, Bhat told Speaker adding, “Ansari Sahib remained part of PC for one year”.
