Timber smugglers held in Ganderbal

Ganderbal, Mar 5: Police on Saturday arrested timber smugglers alongwith with illicit timber being ferried in the vehicle here.  Giving details, SP Ganderbal Imtiyaz Hussain told Greater Kashmir Abdul Qayum Sofi of Yangoora and Rouf Ahmad of Barsu were arrested when they were transporting illegally timber in vehicle at Sumbal-Ganderbal by-pass road.  He said police in Ganderbal have launched drive against timber smugglers.
