Visit hospitals
This refers to letter regarding private practice by Dr. M. M. Mir of Kashmir University. May I ask Dr Mir why he went to a private clinic instead of visiting the hospital? The state government should take serious note of this problem. The doctors are compelled, threatened and requested to examine their patients. If they refuse to do so, they are rebuked. On the one hand Mr. Mir wants to see the doctor at his convenience and on the other hand he wants the government to take an action against the doctors resorting to private practice. How is it possible? If Mr. Mir is a law abiding person he should go to the hospital with the patient and not look for private clinics.
