'People empowerment JK Bank's vision'

Srinagar, Mar 8: Customer comfort and world class banking services have been and shall remain at the core of Bank’s policy of productisation and extension of its services, said chairman and CEO, J&K Bank Mushtaq Ahmad today in a tele-message that was read at the inaugural function of the Bank’s 354th ATM at Aali Masjid at Eidgah here.
The chairman said, “The Bank’s vision is to empower people and develop state’s economy which in turn triggers growth and prosperity of the Bank.”
To make banking services more comfortable and easy for the people of all the regions, he said, the ATM network across the length and breadth of the state shall be expanded more swiftly.
Zonal Head Kashmir Central Zone Abdul Hamid Banday inaugurated the facility amid good gathering comprising of both residents of the area and senior citizens.
Speaking on the occasion, Zonal head reiterated the Bank’s stand of making banking and financial services available to the people right at their doorsteps.
Urging customers to use Bank’s high-tech services, Banday said that technology has brought easy and efficiency in the delivery of banking services and has revolutionized the interface between bank and its customers through its different services including ATMs.
The people of the area appreciated the efforts of the Bank in bringing this strategically located heritage place also within the ambit of technology enabled service of ATM, which they expected shall bring more convenience to the people of the area.
This is the 112th ATM in Kashmir Central Zone and with this the Bank’s total ATM strength has shot up to 354.
