Education an important tool for women empowerment: Mir
Srinagar, Mar 8: Minister for Agriculture Ghulam Hassan Mir has said education is imperative for women as it is the only medium which can help them to shoulder responsibility in every walk of life.

He referred to Dr Ghazala who inspite of being a trained Medico chose entrepreneurship in agriculture, floriculture and medicinal plants thereby providing employment to a large number of youth. She has been recently honored with state level award by Chief Minister in the field of progressive farming. Similarly, he referred to Shahzadi Simon, Former Director Doordarshan and Darakshan Andrabi.
