From bad roads to Jonty Rhodes in City

Former South African cricketer Jonty Rhodes who is holidaying in Kashmir was seen at picturesque Pari Mahal in the heels of Zaberwan hills. He was accompanied to the City hangout by Minister of State for Tourism Nasir Sogami.
For years, successive regimes find nothing other the Dal banks in the City worth presentable before the visiting dignitaries even though the summer Capital is blessed with a variety which includes heritage structures and other sites.
But may be the reason why government keeps celebrities away from the heritage sites and other places worth seeing in Shahr-e-Khaas could primarily be because of bad roads, like this one at Hawal. Everyday thousands of people move past this dusty bumpy road, which for years awaits repairs like most other bad roads in Srinagar.
