Job plan
It is a welcome step that Rangarajan Committee has suggested a job plan to minimize the number of unemployed youth in the state. But it remains to be seen whether these recommendations are sincerely implemented or not. It is true that there are limited opportunities with regard to jobs in government sector but there are vast opportunities in private domain. Need of the hour is to create a suitable environment so that the private sector flourishes and pace of developmental work is also enhanced. We have a large number of skilled youth who are waiting for the opportunities so that they can prove their mettle. Hope good sense prevails at the helm.
