Srinagar, May 9: Rehmat Spices organized an interactive session with some reputed Valley-based wholesalers in a bid to have their innovative ideas and fruitful suggestions.
The function at SKICC here on Sunday saw marathon interactive sessions with wholesale traders sharing their experiences in business with the management of the Rehmat Spice, a Valley-based prestigious food processing company.
The participants— leading wholesalers—from Srinagar and Baramulla were received and welcomed by Ashiq Banday, COO Rehmat Spices.
Banday said: “The purpose of today’s assembly is not to belittle others and elevate and extol ourselves; rather it is to understand each others’ problems and explore ways and means to improve upon our deficiencies and simultaneously have the realization of our core strengths.”
He sought feedback from the dealers about different issues relating to company’s marketing and pricing policy, its quality issues and delivery mechanism.
Banday patiently listened to the suggestion as also certain complaints by the participants and responded all cordially.

He said the purpose behind establishing Rehmat Spices was to eradicate unemployment in the state. He said the motive of the company was to create more and more employment avenues for the youth, besides delivering quality products to people at reasonable prices.
Banday added: “We cannot achieve these gigantic goals unless we secure growth, which in turn is ensured through the development and participation of the people affiliated with our business directly or indirectly.”
“Today’s program here is a step towards this direction. We believe that in our growth lies the growth of our people, be they our employees, our suppliers, or our esteemed wholesalers and distributors. Our indefatigable endeavor would be to ensure the prosperity and stable relations with all the stakeholders including wholesalers, whom we consider as cornerstone of our business.”
Banday said such interactive programs would soon be organized at all the district headquarters and major towns in the Valley in order to have a feel of the market and pulse of wholesalers.”
