FM inspects finance department sections

Srinagar, May 9: Minister for Finance and Ladakh Affairs, Abdul Rahim Rather, on the opening of the Civil Secretariat at Srinagar in connection with the Bi-annual Darbar Move, today inspected various sections of the Finance Department and interacted with the employees posted there.
Rather was accompanied by the Commissioner Secretary, Finance, Sudhanshu Panday and Special Secretary, Finance, Mushtaq Sidique.
The offices inspected included Commissioner Secretary, Finance Director General Budget, Chief Accounts Officer, Financial Advisor, Finance and clerical hall Finance Department.
The Minister enjoined upon the employees to ensure their punctuality in their respective office and attend to the people with social commitment to redress their grievances.
The Minister also held a detailed meeting with the senior officers of the Finance Department and deliberated upon various issues connected with the working of the Forest Department. The Economic Advisor to Government, Jalil Ahmed Khan was also present in the meeting.
